Legacy fisheries are run on a NON profit basis with all monies going back into the venues, 
for us this is our hobby so that anglers can enojy what we have to offer,
​Buckingham Lakes, lake one is an 1 acre lake situated within land owned by the Ministry of Defence.
The lake is nicely stocked with carp averaging around 18lb to 25lb, with the current record being a 30lb
common. Tench have also been caught to 10lb 1oz.
Lake 2 opening in April 2025 a small 3/4 acre idilic lake set is what is discribe as a mr crabtree style venue
Lake one entrance and carpark gates are both secure with a combination lock with CCTV having been recently installed, covering the carpark, making the venue a safe and secure place to enjoy your fishing. 
An on-site comfort hut was installed in Autumn 2022, which is equipped with a gas barbecue and tea/coffee facilities for members to enjoy. We also have a fully functional portaloo on site. 
Our fish stocking plan began in the winter of 2022 where 3 mirror carp of 17lb+ were introduced to the lake and this is set to continue in the coming years.



The current membership is full but we will be offering
5  Winter tickets will be available from
October 31st 2026 - March 31st 2027
at a cost of £125.00

VENUE & M.O.D RULES
  A max of 3 rods only to be used. Minimum of 12lb fluro/mono line only, NO BRAIDED MAINLINE
  
To keep the main syndicate bio safe, ONLY  Fishery nets, slings and cradles to be used. 

If anyone loses end tackle to tree/bushes etc please inform fishery management ASAP (no judgement we just don’t want it left hanging) 
 NO syndicate nets, cradles or slings to be used on the small pit,  please use your own equipment. 

 Micro barbed hooks only. BARBLESS, 360 and BENT HOOKS rigs ARE BANNED.  Random rig checks will happen. 
 Safe zone leaders, lead free or tubing ONLY (NO LEADCORE/SNAGLEADERS)  NO FIXED LEADS, MAGIC TWIG IS BANNED. 

NO plastic, artificial, imitation baits what so ever (pike lures/spinners allowed for pike fishing),  Zig foam maybe used for Zig fishing only  
 Adjustable Zigs only, maybe used on 1 rod only 

With the venue being small,  please accept a member may set up in a swim next to you, please be respectful and understand this can and will happen. 

The use of carp care is BANNED please only use lake supplied salt spray on the body only if needed.  

Pike fishing is from 1st Nov to 31st March.

Freezer bait boilies and pellets only, (NO SHELF LIFE BAITS AS LOOSE FEED) Hemp, Maize and sweetcorn are the only particles allowed. NO luncheon meat allowed to be used on main syndicate lake. 

Fish maybe retained safely for minimal amount of time for photography purposes only, NO CARP SACKS, 

No leaving rods unattended, receivers maybe left with other members for baiting, cooking or toilet uses only.                      
All fishing from marked swims only and within your swim boundary, No fishing in out of bound areas.

Gates MUST be kept shut and locked at all times, Gate codes are for members only and must not be shared 

No cutting of vegetation, NO unauthorised use of the chainsaws or fishery equipment including fishery boat
 
Cooking area and toilet MUST be kept clean at all times 

Every member must attend at least 1 work party per season. 

Fire pits can be used please place ash in bonfire area  

ALL LITTER/CIGARETTE BUTTS MUST BE DISPOSED OF AND TAKEN HOME, 
 
 All member’s fish at their own risk, vehicles are parked at members risk as is all angling equipment used bymembers 

 CCTV is in operation for yours and the venues safety. 

All carp captures must be weighed, photographed and picture sent to fishery and management for stocking program purposes.  

Non fishing guests are limited to partner and members children only. 
 
Members are allowed 1 fishing guest to accompany them @ a cost of £15 per 24hrs to a maximum stay of 48 hrs. You must pre book this with fishery management, limited spaces available. 

All members MUST attend a brief short MOD health and safety course before membership is issued, which lasts 1 year from the completion date (takes 10 minutes to do) and 

You must carry your syndicate membership ID while on the venue 

All members must sign in the book upon arrival and sign out upon leaving the venue. 

NON Members MUST NOT be left alone or with other members on the venue at any time, Members are fully responsible for   their own guests and their actions. 

All members MUST ring the MOD office on (01842 855367) before entering and leaving the venue 
All rules are compulsory, failure to comply WILL result in suspension or a complete termination of your membership with NO   REFUNDS.
